Barefoot Doctor & Leakster's Live Debut Performance of their Positive Message Music 30/11/11

If you weren't fortunate enough to have caught The Barefoot Doctor and Leakster's Live Debut performance on Wednesday night, a quick review for you!....


Wednesday night in the little town of Chertsey in Surrey saw the birth of the life affirming Positive Message Music with The Barefoot Doctor and Leakster.

The evening began with BD giving a talk on sound healing explaining how various cultures and traditions have used sound through the ages as a means of healing. We were then taken on a journey through sound, plunging the depths and releasing any areas of pain in the body by identifying with those areas and using the voice. This was followed by BD taking us through one of the the Taoist five element sound principles, each sound corresponding with various organs in the body, the kidneys, liver, heart, spleen & lungs, and with the various elements of, water, wood, fire, earth & air. Although at first it feels a bit strange using the voice in this way, having been doing the five element sounds regularly for a while now and knowing how powerful and healing the five elements are, its definitely one I can recommend worth doing on a regular basis.

BD then led us through the healing sounds of each chakra or energy centre in the body, spending a bit of time focusing on the AUM and encouraging everyone present to not only focus on our own energy centres but to focus on everyone's and to expand our hearts in Oneness.

This was a very powerful experience, BD blending various elements of sound together on what can only be best described as a complete healing journey.
The session ended with a recognition of the miracle of life itself and sending out healing intentions for the world, anyone we knew and a personal wish for ourselves and at the end of the session during the 14 minute break that followed, there was much love shared and many heartfelt hugs as we each recognised the divine light within each other and identified with the angelic presence.

During the second half of the evening, BD and leakster took us through their life affirming positive message music, a wonderful journey blending different elements and cultures of sound. It was an interactive set with everyone singing along to the magical sounds of BD and Leakster's fantastic music and with people dancing in the aisles and the sound of voices singing and the music playing this was such a wonderful celebration of life that by the end of the evening there was a buzz of excitement, not only from the evening and seeing the birth of something wonderful with the positive message music but the for the healing that took place,the love shared & sent out to the world & the recognition of the miracle of existence.

Angel Day, Saturday 23rd July, The Arkangel boat, Taggs Island, Hampton Court.

Saw this amazing band playing live at the MBS festival. The beautiful angelic presence that surrounded them as birds flew around the bandstand they were playing in was truly heart lifting and the music very powerful. The allotment project

Its been almost two years since I really put a lot of energy into my allotment but about a month ago I decided to get back to work on it digging up barrowloads of weeds and getting it back into shape with the idea of creating a nice peaceful spot for my mum to go and sit and enjoy the sunshine and have a few home grown fresh veggies.

Today I was somewhat surprised that since my last visit one of the retired gents had completely dug over the plot (angel) and at last I could get to work on planting.

Fortunately I got there just as the strawberries were starting to ripen and this year came up trumps with the plants which produced a nice crop and even had a few autumn raspberries fruiting early.

At the moment its just summer veggies that have been planted but with such a nice sized area I'm working on an idea to put a medicine wheel with either herbs or plants somewhere on the plot with some beautiful large rose quartz crystals. Its a simple idea and I'm interested to see if it changes the energy of the plot and how the plants respond. Having worked in horticulture now for some years and my ex boss making the discovery years ago on how plants respond to touch I've been doing some experiments of my own. Planting by the different moon phases, experimenting with growing plants with different crystals to see which is more effective. Leafy veg seem to respond better to transmitter crystals like clear quartz, root veg seem to respond better to the earthier stones like jasper and petrified wood.

Allotments are an inexpensive way to grow your own food, be outside connecting with nature and experiment with ideas. If you're looking to cut down on your food bills, get some fresh air and have a place to just be I'd say that its a more than worthwhile thing to do.
